The Greater St. Louis Alumni Chapter of Tennessee State University has made wonderful strides in the past years.  The Chapter continues to strive to maintain an active and productive role in the Metropolitan St. Louis and East St. Louis areas. We support the University and provide scholarships to area students. High school students who are interested in attending Tennessee State University can obtain more information from their counselors. Students can check the website to download the scholarship application for the academic year.

The Greater St. Louis Chapter has a tremendous challenge in its mission to support our Alma Mater by recruiting the local students to matriculate at the university. Tennessee State University has been good to us and now it is our obligation to return that goodness. 

The following are some of the Greater St. Louis Chapter and member’s goals:

* Increase Chapter membership

* Increase involvement of our young alumni

* Continue recruitment efforts with best and brightest local students

* Increase fundraising activities

* Increase communication with the National office and other chapters throughout the Midwest Region

* Expand and enhance our technology

* Increase name recognition and community involvement

Our host/hostess committee sets the mood with a repass at our monthly meetings which are held every 2nd Sunday, with the exception of the 3rd Sunday in May, unless otherwise noted. We hold positive and productive meetings at 4:00 pm.   We look forward to your visit and participation with the local Chapter.
